We are very fortunate here at Silverdale & Ryecroft to have such a hard-working team of patient participation group members.  The PPG members work with the practice to offer a patient perspective on the services that are provided.  They also help to improve communication between the practice and their patients which in turn contributes towards the continuous improvement of our services, helps patients to take more responsibility for their health and also provides invaluable practical support to help implement change.

The group hold monthly meetings at the surgery alongside practice staff and management team which is where they get to discuss any patient views and questions they may have gathered about their experiences in the surgeries and also have guest speakers covering health issues such as Dementia, Diabetes, Substance abuse, Breast screening and much more. They also hold monthly health promotions inside the surgeries offering help and information to patients either in person or via noticeboards and leaflets.
