Flu vaccinations 2020 - Updated 24.11.20
This year it is especially important that all those eligible have their annual flu jab. Further information can be found here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/flu-influenza-vaccine/
We started this years 2020 NHS flu vaccinations in early September for all the usual eligible groups: those who are over 65 or have certain medical conditions. We have now vaccinated most patients in these groups. If you have had a letter this year but not yet had your jab, please book in ASAP by calling reception.
The government have now announced that this year everyone aged 50-64 will also be offered a flu vaccination from 1st December 2020. We are now taking bookings for these clinics and encourage all eligible patients to book in as soon as possible - we aim to complete most of these in December, so that we can focus on the Covid-19 vaccinations in the New Year.
We will be running clinics slightly differently this year to ensure they are Covid-safe, with social distancing, operating a one-way system within the building and patients need to wear a face covering when attending.
Please wear clothes which will make it easy to expose one of your shoulders and wear a face covering.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our clinics soon
