The practice has been a training practice for GP registrars since 2003, successfully passing several quality assessments to achieve this. As we already provide training for medical students, midwives, health visitors, district and other community nurses, this development completes our training package range.
GP registrars are doctors in their last year before becoming GPs, having completed their hospital training. They can prescribe and see all conditions, always with the support of one of the full GP principals.
The medical students are more closely supervised and tend to see patients alongside one of the main doctors.
Occasionally, doctors need to be assessed through video and you may be asked if you would kindly participate.
